Sleeping in Sidi Bou Said? (from Autumn 2014)
Impressed with Sidi Bou Saïd’s sparkling blues and whites, and longing to spend the night in this charming town? Perfectly possible: we give you the possibility to rent our picturesque house combined with your stay at Henchir Dheb, from autumn 2014.
The vacation house is located in a cul-de-sac, mainly resided by Leila’s family. Jan and Leila renovated it to comfortably accommodate 3 to 5 adults (the sofa bed in the lounge will easily accommodate two extra adults if necessary).
The ground floor contains the lounge, the dining room, the kitchen and the toilet (with shower). You sleep on the first floor in a double room (with private bathroom with bathtub and toilet) or a single room – both equipped with air conditioning and central heating. The single room leads to the first terrace, a stair will lead you to the roof terrace. Both are furnished.
The house is within walking distance of a station, where a train will bring you to and from central Tunis. The ride goes along the Tunis coast line, passing La Goulette, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and La Marsa. An exciting train ride guaranteed.
Also within walking distance lies the centre of the beautiful Sidi Bou Said, perched on a mountain. A popular tourist attraction, but still highly recommended for travellers not eager for mass tourism.
Tunis, the capital, is located at a half-hour car ride. The house is therefore an excellent choice as ideal base for trips.
The house, located in a typical cul-de-sac, is perfect if you wish to alternate the quiet country side and the vibrating Mediterranean liveliness.
